McDonald Observatory

The Cynthia and George Mitchell Foundation pledged more than $2 million in 2005 to the McDonald Observatory of the University of Texas at Austin in support of the Hobby-Eberly Telescope Dark Energy Experiment and to fund K-12 educational projects within the state of Texas.
